This Season's Bean
This season we've opted for a super sweet and flavoursome Colombian natural. 
Big toffee sweetness and boozy spiced rum aromas. Fantastic either black or with milk. As an espresso there's an balanced sourness followed by a deliciosuly sweet after taste. This is the perfect winter warmer - so much so it's our festive bean.
 
The Producer
Farmed in the Caldas region of Colombia, an area renowned for coffee cultivation, Anserma is a collective seeking to promote and improve the economic, social, technical and cultural conditions of its associated regions. It uses some interesting tech solutions to ensure the conditions of their coffee is sufficient to maximise the natural flavours of their beans. This lot named ‘Siracusa’, after a mountain close to the Cooperative, was grown at an altitude of 1800, was washed and fermented in sealed barrels for 96 hours and then processed naturally.
